All leagues for the 2009 Season will be held at two of the only Professional Beach Volleyball Facilities in the Long Island area:

1. Robert Moses Beach State Park (Suffolk County: East side of Parking Field 2). This Facility features: 18 Beach Courts, Music "all and every" Night, Barbecue Grills(charcoal)/BBQ area, Picnic Tables, Bathrooms, Shower and a Tetherball Court for the Kids.
   
   
2. Jones Beach State Park (Nassau County: Field 4 - at the Main Mall, just off the Boardwalk). This Facility features: 8 Lighted Beach Courts (allowing people who work late or in NYC, Queens, Eastern Long Island or Brooklyn to make it to the beach to play), Music "all and every" Night, Showers, Bathrooms, Boardwalk as well as a Playground and Miniature Golf Course for the Kids.

   LIVA has leagues for Coed Recreational and Competitive- 6 person teams and Coed 4's and Men's 4 person teams (competitive only) at both facilities.
   
   -New for 2009-
   
   "Sunday Night - Singles Night"
   and Co-ed 6-person teams and Co-ed 4/3-person teams have been added to the Robert Moses & Jones Beach Schedule for 2009. These games will begin at 7:00PM at Robert Moses & 6:10, 7:05, 8:00 & 8:55PM at Jones Beach.
   
   -Schedule Changes-
   Because of the demand for Competitive 6's in our Jones Beach Wednesday (9:30PM time slot) League and our Monday through Thursday (7:00PM) Coed Recreational and Coed Competitive 6's leagues at Robert Moses Beach we are switching the Competitive Coed 4's league to the Sunday night (8:55 time slot) at Jones Beach and to the Sunday night (7:00PM) league at
   Robert Moses Beach.
   Competitive 4's teams that wish to play in the Wed's 9:30 league at Jones or on any night at Robert Moses Beach against competitive 6's teams can register but will have to pay the 6's team price
   ($475 instead of $425 at Jones Beach and $450 instead of $400) at Robert Moses Beach).
   Please note, we will continue to run Coed Recreational 6's and Coed Competitive 6's leagues on
   Sunday night's at Robert Moses Beach.
   
   "Men's 4's League"
   Men's 4/3- person teams will be held on Tuesday nights at Robert Moses.
   
   "JV and Varsity High School teams are welcome to play in our leagues."

Robert Moses Beach State Park Schedule & Fees

Leagues start at 7:00 pm. Please note, first teams to check in at the shack will be assigned a court and will start play immediately. Teams can check in as early as 6:45 pm to start play.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights until Sunset. This Facility features: 18 Beach Courts, Music "all and every" Night, Barbecue Grills(charcoal)/BBQ area, Picnic Tables, Bathrooms, Shower and a Tetherball Court for the Kids.

Teams/Individuals choose the night and day you prefer to play as leagues are offered each night for recreational, intermediate and advanced teams/individuals. You will play the same night and day each week throughout each session.

ROBERT MOSES BEACH TEAM FEE: Co-ed 6-person teams are $450 per session/league.
Co-ed and Men's -person teams are $400 per session/league ($450 if playing in a 6's league).

Fees are based on 10 players for 6-person teams, 5 players for 4-person teams. $20 per additional player.

ALL PLAYERS players must pay $15 per player for LIVA Membership (annual fee), which includes LIVA 2008 T-shirts, LIVA Membership Card (used to receive dinner/retail/service discounts from our sponsors, and free admission to the LIVA BBQ).

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEE: is $100 + $15 (for T-Shirt & LIVA Membership; Total = $115)
if you are playing on a 6-person team.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEE: is $115 + $15 (for T-Shirt & LIVA Membership; Total = $130)

Jones Beach State Park Schedule & Fees

All Leagues at the Jones Beach State Park Beach Volleyball Facility
run Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights and start at 6:45PM, 7:40PM, 8:35PM and 9:30PM (*note, the Sunday leagues start earlier).
